Chrysler’s Viper and GM’s Corvette have been crossing swords ever since the snake-badged supercar was launched in 1992. They’ve been hissing at each other on many fronts, from performance figures to the world’s most race tracks.
Just like in the Mustang vs Camaro dispute, some favor the Corvette, while others prefer the Viper. We’ve having a hard time choosing between them, as we know both vehicles are very potent and have a wealthy legacy to brag about. GM would actually score better with the Vette in the latter category but we’re not here to go into specifics.
We just tuned in to share the photo of a fifth-generation SRT Viper that’s wearing a “C7 LOL” vanity plate. It’s obviously aimed at the 2014 Corvette Stingray and will probably upset a few Vette owners and enthusiasts. We’re only having a few giggles over this Texas license plate, but feel free to share your thoughts with us.
And please do it before the 2015 Corvette Z06 gets launched, ‘cause we all know what’s going to happen then. It’ll be “Viper LOL” time!
