Even though I've seen my fair share of whiskey throttle crashes ending in a very bad way, this one is one the funny side.
It looks like this Taiwanese rider was not at all willing to let the scooter go down and hoped he could somehow regain control of the bike.
The outcome of this wishful thinking turns out to be much worse than simply letting the two-wheeler go down upon impacting the taxi.
As speed increases, the rider's chances to simply step off from the scooter grow null. So instead of a bent bumper and front wheel, the fellow's in for road rash, more damage and a lot of explaining to the police.
And if he tried to somehow run away like a friend of mine said, well, that's even more hilarious!
