The BMW 1 Series Coupe has just released a new aftermarket present, in the form of a carbon fiber roof panel. Developed by Chai Wan tuning company Revozport, the panel brings both technical and visual benefits.
The roof panel not only reduces the vehicle’s overall mass, but also lowers its center of gravity. In case you’re wondering it tips the scale at 3 kg, while the factory metallic panel weighs 16 kg.
As for the visual part of the equation, the tuning company allows customers to choose between a gloss and a matte finish. However, alongside this replacement panel, Revozport also offers a roof cover, which brings extra bonus point, but has negative tech consequences (albeit minor).
The Revozport BMW 1 Series Coupe carbon fiber roof panel can be yours for $1,500 (EUR1,100), if you opt for the gloss finish, or $1,725 (EUR1,285), if you go for the matte one.
