Dubbed the Renntech C74, the project upgrades the vehicle’s 6.2 liter V8 to 605 hp and a peak torque of 555 lb-ft. This allows the saloon to run the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds (@126 mph) and offer a top speed of 204 mph (328 km/h).
In case you were wondering, the “74” designation refers to the width of the rear wheel track (74 inches), which allows the fitting of 11 inch rims with 315 mm tires for the power-handling axle.
The vehicle comes with a set of carbon fiber exterior elements that enhance both its appearance and its aerodynamics. The standard AMG rims have been replaced with custom three-piece 19 and 20 inch wheels.
