R Dream Body Collision & Car Customization Center, or RBD LA for short, have taken us behind the scenes of a custom build that turned the regular C63 AMG into a real widebody monster.
They’ve widened the bumper, extended the arches, doors and fenders to make the car look more like the limited Black Edition, which coincidently isn’t widely available in the States yet.

The car actually belongs to a ‘she’ customer, and the mods had to be done in less than a month for our female gearhead to enjoy her car.

The list of things to be done to the car includes:

  • A very special front bumper needs massive repairs due to cracked areas.
  • Front bumper extension to the sides
  • Front fender metal extensions (with vents)
  • Rear quarter panel metal extensions
  • Rear door metal extensions
  • Side rocker panel metal extensions
  • Rear bumper metal extensions (with vents)
  • Full complete color change to Grigio Medio
  • Headlights opened up for customization
  • Re-clear matte carbon fiber to glossy carbon fiber components

The car should be done soon, and we should have a full report on the finished project. Today’s update shows the bodywork is almost done.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
