Alan Gibbs steps into the spotlight once more as he announces the imminent launch of his latest creation, the Quadski.
Started years ago as a prototype, the Quadski seems to have made it through all the development stages and the final tests render it reliable for mass production... and sales.

Quadski is an amphibian ATV and wit can perform equally well on the forest tracks or in the deep water of a laguna. While the 72 km/h (44.7 mph) land speed of the Quadski is nothing to write home about, the one in the water is, as this awesome vehicle will retain the same speed, regardless of the new environment.

Now, for those not so familiar with water speeds, this means 38.8 knots, and for other similar amphibian vehicles, this is dream domain. Yet, Quadski sees no impediment when it comes to changing sides: a push of a button once in water and the wheels retract. Gear up with a life jacket and throttle up, it's that simple.

The Quadski will hopefully be available in the US by the end of the year, and Gibbs dreams of selling it worldwide by 2014. The price may be the only concern, as the manufacturer asks for $ 40,000 (€ 30,970). Not cheap, but those willing to pay the price will surely have the fun of a lifetime.
