Can one single letter change the way we look at a French car brand? It can if it's the 18th one of the English alphabet (don't know about the French one).
The letter R has been added to the RCZ coupe to make it the sportscar it should have been. This VW Scirocco has been placed once more at the cutting edge of technology in its segment, with the arrival of a new 1.6-liter turbo engine that makes 270 hp and a mechanical Torsen differential.

Expected to arrive on the market in early 2014, the RCZ R received a cool press film today which predictably shows it on the track. There's some semi-fake drifting, but it's easily forgiven thanks to the French design character.

The sporting success of the Peugeot brand hinges on this single car, so it'd better be good and ready. But what do you guys think of the R's emotional track action?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
