Mercedes is the company that transformed the four-door coupe from a niche into a very popular area with the CLS, so it’s only natural that the carmaker wants to use the same scheme at another scale. Thus, the automotvie producer is currently working to develop such a vehicle on the platform of the new A- and B-Class.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz compact four-door coupe, whose interior we’ve recently shown, is still surrounded in mystery - not even its name is clear- the vehicle could be called CLC, CLA or BLS.
The car will be powered by turbocharged four-cylinder units ,which will be borrowed from the new A-Class (recently spied uncovered ahead of its Geneva launch), and will use front-wheel drive for the entry-level versions, as well as all-wheel drive for the superior ones.
