The world was taken by surprise when British tuner Kahn released a tuning development based on the Land Rover DC100 last year, in the form of the Kahn Defender. However, the base vehicle is just a prototype that’s years away from being released, so the tuned example must follow suit.
However, Kahn is now launching a set of wheels developed exclusively for the current Defender, with the 16-inch rims being perfectly suitable for the toughest off-road adventure. Kahn is also planning to release a set of 18-inch rims for the Defender, as well as a body kit for the off-roader, which promises to offer extra style.
“With simple clean lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke and a purposeful mechanical centre, the Kahn defender wheels (pictured), built for off roaders, is essentially a high end product – which is a bit more stylistic than current offerings,” a company statement reads.
