High-Speed Police Motorcycle Pursuit [Video]
We're really glad to see the police offering such footage for public viewing, as it depicts how things work when it comes to enforcing the law on two wheels.
This video has been recorded by the helmet camera of Officer Troy Gurley in Florence, US, on April 8. According to a Florence Police statement, Gurley attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Justin O. Sanders, 24, for traffic violations.
As Sanders refused to stop the car despite being signaled, Gurley gave chase and called for backup. Several squads responded to Troy's request and Sanders was subsequently apprehended, charged with various drug, firearms and traffic violations.
We must say our hearts skipped a beat or two seeing the bike go extremely wide on two occasions, but we trusted Gurley knew his way with the bike and just wanted to play it safe, preferring to go wide rather than force a sharper turn.
