German specialist Hamann has introduced a number a aftermarket upgrades for the second-generation BMW X3, which includes both appearance and performance enhancing parts.
Unlike other recent creations from Hamann, including the unrecognizable BMW M5 or the Spyridon G63, the X3 gained only a few mild exterior modifications, such as a suspension lowering kit, ultra light 21-inch Anniversary EVO alloy wheels and Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R tires. That's right, you can still tell it's a BMW X3.
But Hamann’s main enhancements can be noticed under the hood, with the X3 gaining power boosts across its entire lineup via ECU remapping. For example, the range-topping xDrive 35i boasts 348 HP, 42 HP more when compared to the standard version, while the diesel mills can deliver up to 355 HP in the xDrive 35d variant, which develops “only” 313 HP as it rolls off the assembly line.
