We want to say that we are patiently waiting for Ford to deliver the all-new Raptor, but we are not. In reality, we constantly check for updates or spy footage and sometimes stumble upon projects like this one.
We believe this is a project put together by the guys at Galpin Auto Sports, the customization division behind the recent Fisker Rocket and some famous American drift cars.
The truck looks like it can run the Baja rally, but in reality, it's just a way to show off all the things GAS can do to the all-new F-150 truck to make it sportier. We are dealing with a widebody SuperCrew that's been lifted slightly to make room for bigger wheels and 20-inch wide tires.
The front features a brash new mesh grille and a protective shield for what we believe to be a supercharged V8 engine. Powertrain modifications also include a Full Race Motorsports Freak-O-Boost front-mount intercooler kit with 3" cold air intake and a 3" cat-back Freak-O-Boost exhaust system.
The F-150 also features chassis upgrades like the Addictive Dessert Designs (ADD) stage 3 suspension kit, Sway-A-Way 3.0 coilover suspension for the front, and bypass shock at the rear. To make the thing stop, they also fitted Wilwood 6-piston calipers with 16" rotors.
Last but not least, we find that the exterior has been customized with a light blue and orange theme characteristic of the Gulf livery. The F-150 boasts an XTR body kit, custom front and rear off-road bumpers and chase rack with integrated Rigid Industries lighting including Q2 Hyper sports, Q2 driving lights, 40-inch E2 combo light bar, 11-inch Capture Light with a GoPro camera mount, SAE pods, dually reserve lights, and finally the custom LED headlights made by Lighting Firm.
The interior hasn't been left out, featuring Diamond Audio custom sound system by GAS and everyone's favorite leather from Katzkin.
