The car boasts rear-hinged doors, with the cabin boasting high-quality materials such as woven black leather. Glossy colors and smooth textiles are available all around, perfectly matching the shiny purple color seen outside.
A rear-passenger child seat is also available, while the rear seats are hiding the battery pack, but also increase the luggage space and keep the battery safe. Interiors have also been customized with a touchscreen that provides quick access to the main features of the car.
Since it's a model designed to reduce fuel consumption as much as possible, the French designers included a folding roof covered with solar cells powering the electrical systems and thus, reducing the use of the battery.
"With a design philosophy of sophistication and the use of environmentally responsible technology, Citroen Revolte's re-chargeable hybrid power-train features a small-capacity conventional combustion engine combined with an electric motor and a battery re-charging function. Agile and responsive, Citroen Revoltes’s advanced drive-train delivers lively performance suited to the urban environment. Revolte also provides the option of CO2-free driving with the ability to run in all-electric ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) mode," Citroen said in a release.
Curiously, Citroen hasn't released details regarding the powertrain of the car, but more information is likely to surface in the near future.
