Ford has launched the "Mustang Countdown" online weekly video series as the Ford Mustang is getting ready to celebrate its 50th anniversary on April 17, 2014.
The series reveals the stories behind the famed Mustang and tells how the Blue Oval-badged musclecar has influenced people all over the world. The first video already available on YouTube include the Mustang 1 Concept feature we've already seen last month or the build of the one millionth Mustang at the company's Flat Rock Plant.
Ford says upcoming episodes will talk "video games, Mustang’s competition heritage, custom restomods and more," and it sounds like we're in for a great deal of Mustang fun. But until then, scroll below to watch the videos already released by the automaker.
“Fans around the world share a passion for Mustang that embodies the freedom of the open road and the spirit of performance driving,” said Steve Ling, Ford car marketing manager. “The ‘Mustang Countdown’ series is another way in which Ford is honoring that heritage with numerous celebrations over the next year".
