That’s pretty much what his Nissan GT-R stands for, the same car the actor will be driving at this year’s Gumball 3000 rally.
With the 3000-mile glossy rally getting brighter by the year, Gumball 3000 is turning into a red carpet of celebrities’ autos. We’re talking the best of the best, people; it’s hard to miss this event. It’s got everything from millionaire DJs like Deadmau5 and Afrojack, actors, fashion companies, jewelry makers, and even dating websites participating.
At 62, David Hasselhoff is keeping things as fresh as possible. The latest gig that caught everyone’s attention is that 1980s funky video he starred in, promoting the Kickstarter-produced “Kung Fury” movie. The cop-turned--villain hunter is seen driving this old-school Lamborghini Countach. As we said the last time, the Italian exotic would have been perfect for the rally in question, but it seems The Hoff decided to stay with the same ride he used last year.
The KITT goes under the hammer
Being one of the veteran drivers in the Gumball 3000 club, we’re more than certain he’ll be enjoying the ride no matter what car he’s using to get the attention. On the other hand, the Nissan GT-R was wrapped to pay homage to his legendary Knight Rider KITT car, a hero vehicle that made the actor famous.
Speaking of KITT, you guys should know that this year The Hoff’s fans will have a rare chance to auction for David Hasselhoff’s personal Knight Rider 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. The vehicle appeared in the original Knight Rider series and will be sold during the 2015 Gumball 3000 rally.
