However, now that Plymouth is dead and the Prowler 15 years old, the guys over at Florida-based tuner Titan Motorsport, have given it a makeover. The car gets unique purple flames on a black body (very hot-rod-ish), custom Asanti AF162 19-inch rims on the front and 22-inch variants on the back, all with custom-made brakes (the calipers have the ‘Prowler’ logo etched onto their surface).
We say the Prowler looks really nice and is definitely a unique sight on any road in the world. It is one of the last American cars to really turn heads - too bad ‘friendly’ Chrysler killed off Plymouth, but maybe their cars weren’t dull enough so they stood out in a positive way and were a threat to the uniformity present throughout all of GM’s brands.
