After launching the 5 Series Exclusive Sport Edition in April and the 7 Series V12 Bi-Turbo Special Edition in May, German carmaker has introduced another limited edition model for the Japanese market.
Limited to only 10 units, the new M5 Nighthawk Special Edition sports the company’s Competition Package and a stunning shade of Individual Frozen Black on both its body and wheels. To further emphasize the sedan’s “nocturnal” look, BMW also added dark chrome front kidney grilles, side gills, door handles, side mirrors, exhaust tips and rear diffuser.
Being fitted with the Competition Package, the M5 Nighthawk puts 575 HP at the driver’s disposal, who can use all that amount of power to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in 4.2 seconds. Inside, this special edition M5 comes with a full leather interior in a Sakiru orange shade and the company’s M Performance carbon interior trim.
The Japan-exclusive BMW M5 Nighthawk will fetch JPY18.2 million, which means about $181,600 at current exchange rates. Get them while they’re hot!
