BMW is set to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the unification of the United Arab Emirates by introducing a special edition of the 7-Series.
The BMW 7 Series 40 Years UAE Edition is based on the 750Li and comes dressed in Marakesh Brown, while its interior treats customers with Merino Platinum leather. The cabin comes with UAE emblems for the headrests, iDrive controller and other areas, while the dark chrome trimming uses the 40 years UAE limited edition branding.
Under the hood, we find the standard 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 unit that delivers 407 hp and a peak torque of 600 Nm, which sends the car past the 62 mph mark in 5.2 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Only 40 units will be built, with the car set to be unveiled at the upcoming Dubai Motor Show 2011.
