Aznom Presents Fiat Panda 4x4 Valgrisa
The small 4x4 was stripped of its childish look and was transplanted one which does not exactly fit it. This is most obvious on the inside, where most of the not-so-handy work was done. Aznom's tweaking consisted of covering all elements, including seats, door panels, dashboard and steering wheel in either leather or wool.
The wool-leather combination would not have been complete without the addition of some real wood. Wooden inlays can be found on the instrument area, shifting knob and even on the glove compartment box lid... On the outside, the modifications are not as striking, except for the,
"The customization of a Panda 4×4 made by Aznom was born in the Valle d’Aosta Mountains. It came from the Valgrisa idea to make a car designed for travel routes between the mountains roads and in line with the traditional values of the company," Aznom says.
With the risk of offending PETA militants, we must say we are all in favor of using leather and, to a certain extent, even wool. But in a Fiat Panda? Why?
"Valgrisa thought to revive elegance through Valle d’Aosta tradition, demonstrating also in this case that often “elegance stems from the simplest things,” says Aznom.
We can understand that too, yet one minor issue remains.
Your average Panda can be purchased for some 13,000 - 15,000 euros, depending where you're located. The price for the complete Aznom Valgrisa Panda customization, car not included, is 12,000 euros. Do the math...and remember: it's a Panda, not a Rolls...
