A facelifted version of the Audi A8 flagship sedan is coming our way via the IAA 2013 in Frankfurt. But the biggest show left in the auto world's 2013 calendar can overshadow a mere facelift, so the actual reveal will take place on August 21st, little more than a week from now, according to this teaser video.
The second sneak peak at the car shows Audi's new LED headlight technology reshaping the A8's front end. To be honest, we haven't been able to figure out what the second new "shining light of the Audi family" is, but it's likely the S8 or the A8 L.
The facelifted A8 is expected to arrive at the middle of next year as a 2015 model. It will feature the brand new Matrix LED headlights which shuts down some of the LEDs automatically to block out section that might blind other motorists. As a result, the A8 can stay on high beams all the time, increasing visibility.
Editor's note: Saudis in Audis, Saudi in Audis! I have mustache, I have shades, I have shiny new A8.
