Back in August, Mercedes-Benz introduced a facelift for the Viano range, with the 2011 model year changes targeting multiple areas of the people-carrying van. Now, it is time for the vehicle to receive a modification kit from A.R.T.

The German aftermarket developer is offering us a preview of a complex tuning pack, working on the vehicle’s engine, suspension, exterior and interior.

The tuner is introducing multiple output upgrades for the vehicle’s engine range. For example, the 3.0 liter V6 diesel unit has received an ECU remap, being taken to 268 hp and 530 Nm. As for the 3.5 liter V6 powerplant, this has been gifted with modifies cylinder heads, sports cam shafts, a sports air filter and an ECU remap. The tuner has also installed a four-pipe sports exhaust silencer that comes with chromed 80mm stainless steel tail-pipes using the A.R.T. logo.

The vehicle is now connected to the road via a lowered suspension and a set of custom lightweight alloy rims. Customers can choose between monoART1 and monoART2 wheels that come in an 18-inch size, using 245/45 tires, or in a 19-inch size, wrapped in 255/40 tires.

The van’s exterior receives an aerodynamic kit consisting of a front skirt with additional headlamps (two LED daytime running lamps and one LED high-beam headlamp for each side), new side skirts, as well as a redesigned rear bumper that also offers access to the towing hook. The tuning company also offers a roof spoiler that emphasizes the series third brake light.

The interior can be upgraded with a leather finish, wood or carbon fiber trimming, a sports steering wheel and a complex entertainment system that includes a DVD unit, additional monitors, a play station console and others.
