Have you ever been stuck in a traffic jam, wishing your car could fly over the others so you could reach your destination a little faster? A lot of people had that idea, but because it’s so technically complicated, not to mention expensive, most people have given up on the idea of a flying car.
Stefan Klein from Slovakia is not the type of person who stops dreaming though. He partnered up with co-founder Juraj Vaculik to turn his 20-year flight of fancy into reality. Aeromobil is their company, which designs and makes this amazing vehicle.
They don’t claim it’s a flying car, rather a roadable aircraft. A few weeks ago, the Aeromobil 2.5 enjoyed its first test flight. It doesn’t look too stable, maybe due to the large frontal surface, but it’s supposed to reach speeds of up to 124 mph in the air… eventually.
Aeromobil 3.0 is the version they are actually going to sell to customers, and we have footage of that one as well, which you should check out below.
