Every time we hear the word "ring" the past few months, our thoughts instantly turn to the latest four ringed monster, the RS6 Avant. There's no denying the estate ins't a pretty car, but it's more powerful than an R8 for goodness sake's. 560 horsepower from their new 4-liter V8, and it grunts and screams and pops.
Oddly, some guys from German din't like that number. They decided to make it a nice, round 700 hp. They work for ABT, and this is their work.

The engine tuning resulted in increased output of power and 880 Nm of torque, which is equally impressive. The 25% boost means V-max on this car is now 320 km/h, while the first 100 km/h will go by as fast as you can count to 3.4 seconds.

“Our version of the Audi RS6 Avant is striking without being overbearing, is understated and setting technical standards“, says Hans-Jürgen Abt.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
