Can-Am proudly announces the biggest upgrade for their 2014 Spyder RT reversed trike: a 3-cylinder engine, a premiere in the model line-up.
The in-line triple is said to have a 1,330cc displacement and sport top-notch injection and throttle control, also being capable to deliver m115 HP @ 7250 rpm and 96 ft-lb (130 Nm) at a more usable 5000 rpm.
The transmission is also said to be a new one, with 6 speeds and reverse, and a hydraulic clutch. It looks like the RT is the only Spyder who will benefit from the new engine, as the other models will still roll with the old Rotax V-twin.
