Jaguar has just revealed their first estate model since the X-Type, and it’s quite the looker. The XF Sportbrake as it’s called is a car that combines practicality with elegance and a well balanced profile. It’s boot is not as big as the Mercedes E-Class Estate, but we’d buy one just for the looks. But the German three-pointed star brand will also have one of these sporty estates.
This is called the CLS Shooting Brake, or at least that’s what the automotive world has dubbed it until Mercedes full reveals the car. This rendering closely follows the real-life prototype of the car seen on the road, and also the 5-meter long estate concept shown back in 2010.
We expect the engine range to start with the CLS350, featuring the 3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp. Of more use if you’ll find yourself in a hurry is the twin-turbo V8 of the CLS550, which will have 402 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque.
