Starting this spring, you’ll be able to buy the facelifted version of the smart fortwo, featuring a more distinctive grille and fresh headlights. the Daimler sub-brand says the first new citycars will arrive at dealers at the beginning of April.
The bad news for anybody wanting to see something new is that the fresh grille, lights and fenders are exactly the same as they were on the 2012 fortwo electric drive. As with the aforementioned EV, the badge has been enlarged and moved to the center of the grille. In the lower section of the curvy front bumper, either fog lamps or LED daytime running lights will be available, depending on which trim level you go for Pure, Pulse, Passion, Brabus and Brabus Xclusive.

As per usual, the engine are 1.0-liter three-cylinder numbers for the petrol range, plus the 102 hp brabus version and one 0.8-liter cdi turbodiesel. Prices will start at €10,275 for the base 45 kW (61 hp) micro hybrid.
