CLA to Bring at Least 60% Conquest Rate for MB USA
America is a very important market for the CLA, and MB USA President and CEO Steve Cannon recently had a conversation with Autobytel about the nearby future of the “baby CLS” and he came out with a rather interesting quote.
Asked how big of a percentage of CLA customers will be new to the Mercedes-Benz brand, Steve Cannon said: “Sixty percent. It could be higher, but some of our customers are going to look at that car and go, ‘wow: I’ve been waiting for that from you guys for years.' We’re going against the last year of the C-Class life cycle. I’m not worried that the two will be complements to each other. [60%] is what the C-Class did, and [CLA] could probably do better.”
The only major problem for the Mercedes-Benz CLA in the United States might be posed by the manufacturer not allocating enough units for the exploding market demand.
