VOLKSWAGEN Routan 2008 - Present
Because Volkswagen wasn't present on the North American market with any minivan for offer, they introduced the Routan following a partnership with DaimlerChrysler back in 2005. The Routan is a seven-seat large MPV that Volkswagen markets only in the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico. Blending an inspired mixture of European design with American need for interior space and stowage, the German car maker aims at securing at least a 5 percent market share in the minivan segment in the U.S.
