Yamaha R1 with Toce Exhausts Sounds Good Even Without a Helmet

If you feel like most aftermarket exhausts are not radical enough for your Yamaha R1, you should look up the Toce cans. If you still think they are a bit on the mild side, then maybe you should try no pipes at all.
Here's a nice sound from an R1, at idle and running at moderate rpm across the neighborhood. And to judge better the Toce Brothers' work, you also get some footage of the original cans and their sound.

We totally dig the Toce-loaded bike as it sports a more masculine character with a lot more low-end and a milder tone. And the slash-cut 4-pipe design looks killer on the R1, in complete harmony with the aggressive edgy lines of the bike.

However, we did not like the lack of a helmet. Even if throttling up just a bit on the alley, things can go wrong, and this demo movie could have ended in the snuff part of the You Tube.
