Webber Suffered from Food Poisoning after Silverstone

Besides the front wing saga that made the first page of newspapers for several days in a row, Mark Webber was also struggling to deal with food poisoning, some voices in the paddock joking that it might have been caused by the barbeque hosted by Red Bull team boss Christian Horner.

Webber admitted that he was recovering from the disease in the days after the British GP and revealed in an interview for the Daily Mail what he believes to be the cause of the food poisoning. "Bloody prawn, mate," he said. "Vicious, aren't they?"

Furthermore, he commented on the same over-discussed front wing subject, admitting that he revealed too many details to the public. He asked for a fair "deal" however, adding that he fully respects the Red Bull team and he looks forward to the next season.

"It's a fair admission that I put too much out to the world,"
he told the newspaper. "I would have liked it not to have got out. But it did. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I try to be honest to myself and everyone, and I'm being honest with you. I don't want any favouritism; just a fair deal. You need to make sure you don't have any headwinds. You can't afford anything that makes it a little bit harder for you," he explained.

"There is respect both ways. That's why I will be staying with Red Bull next season. I am part of a sensational team. We've got two of us at the front. It's a sensational problem to have. I could be at the stage of my career when I say, 'It's fine, mate, I don't really care,' but unfortunately - or fortunately - I can't do that."
