We’ve heard about people complaining about the Scion/Toyota FR-S/GT 86 being underpowered, despite its cool looking design.
Well, they probably didn’t get Toyota’s idea for this mean little coupe. The automaker wanted to give people a nice looking affordable sportscar and in its standard form, the 200 horsepower engine should offer plenty of fun.
However, the FR-S/GT 86 goes under the same principle as the classic Toyota Supra: if you want more power, you can achieve it by tuning the engine.
While you won’t achieve the same amount of power as with a Supra from the 2-liter boxer, there will be enough to shred its rear tires. Like this Greedy Formula Drift FR-S you can see in the video bellow.
