Mercedes Benz US CEO Steve Cannon has shed new light on the future model range the Germans are planning. In his interview with USA Today, he revealed that Mercedes will launch 19 facelifts and redesigned models as well as 11 brand new vehicles by 2020.
He also revealed that there will indeed be a C-Class Convertible model, presumably coming with the W205 generation of the C-Class. This will face stiff competition from the Audi A5 and the upcoming BMW 4-Series.
The next generation C-Class will also be technologically advanced, and as some of you may remember from a recent post of ours, will come with new, smaller engines.
Cannon also said the upcoming S-Class Pullman will be a refreshing alternative, ready to snap up the customers lost when they killed off the Maybach brand. The S-Class will also have a coupe and convertible option, one of which will likely replace the CL.
