Ladies and gentlemen drivers, you are looking at a teaser image for a new supercar that will be introduced by a company that’s just as new - the VUHL 05. The vehicle, a “road-legal lightweight supercar that’s been precision-engineered for the track”, as its creators describe it, will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in july.
VUHL stands for Vehicles of Ultra- lightweight and High-performance, with the company being lead by brothers Iker and Guillermo Echeverria. The company’s share holders include the Mexican Government, as well as private investors.

The 05 was penned by the aforementioned brothers’ Mexican-American design agency, Etxe. As for the technical bits of the upcoming supercar, VUHL works with partners such as Ford, Magna Steyr and Multimatic.

The body of the VUHL 05 will be built in Canada, while the chassis and final assembly will be handled by Adman Leku in Mexico City. The carmaker’s European headquarters has been set up in Luxembourg.

Our say: only time will tell if this “premium track day” proposal is a viable one.
