The jury consisted of representatives of Saab and employer-branding company Universum. The Technological Woman of the Year award was created by Saab to assist capable women in the technological field. All women employed in the technological field who have been working for a number of years are encouraged to apply.

Anna-Maria Sameus studied industrial economy at the Chalmers University of Technology in Goteborg and has worked at Volvo for 14 years already. She had recently completed a business concept project for a forthcoming car model and will further take responsibility for integrating technical solutions with market requirements.

"Anna-Maria Sameus embodies the image of a woman with considerable technological capability who works in an international environment using leadership as a tool, close to where the business opportunities are and with a firm focus on the customer.
