With the current Golf Cabriolet set to go out of production in about a year or so, Volkswagen is launching a Karmann special edition for the drop top version of the popular hatchback.
Available to order as we speak, with starting prices set at €27,275 in Germany, the Golf Cabriolet Karmann features 17-inch “Porto” wheels, chrome surrounds on the fog lamps and front air intake, as well as Karmann badges on the front fenders.
Inside, the two-door convertible comes with two-tone sport seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, brushed aluminum and dark gray trim, chrome accents and Karmann sill plates and a wind deflector.
The entry-level Golf Cabriolet Karmann is powered by a 1.2-liter TSI engine with 105 HP, while the range-topping version has a 1.4-liter TSI with 160 HP under the hood.
