The Volkswagen Jetta is as fresh as a car can be, with the model still offering us that newborn baby sensation. However, this doesn’t mean that tuners are waiting to get their hands on the car - they’ve already started playing with the vehicle.

We’d like to show you what suspension specialist H&R has done to the (U.S. spec) Jetta. The company has chosen a model equipped with a 2.5 liter engine and offered it a set of subtle modifications.

The stock springs were replaced with a set of lowering ones, so the car now sits 1.3 inches closer to the road, also coming with an enhanced handling. The car rides in 19x8.5-inch O.Z. Superturismo LM rims that use TRAK+ wheelspacers and high-performance tires.

The list of tech goodies also includes a performance braking system that is supplied by Brembo and uses 14.4-inch cross-drilled discs with four-piston Monobloc calipers, as well as a Vibrant Perfromance exhaust that makes the vehicle meaner.

The final touch by H&R comes in the form of a vinyl that discreetly shows the sporty intention of the project. An asymmetrical layout was used, covering parts of the bonnet and of the sides.

As you can see, the vehicle also features a few exterior modifications, but these are Volkswagen optional extras. We are talking about a front skirt that follows the stock design lines, a set of side skirts and a rear bumper add-on element, as well a boot lid lip spoiler.
