VATH Introduces the 585 HP 2009 ML63 AMG

The tuners at VATH Automobiltechnik have just revealed details on their latest project, which comes as one of the most powerful ML63 AMGs to date.

The new upgrade program enables the VATH Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG to reach a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) thanks to the 6.3-liter engine that develops 585 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. Moreover, the car is now able to sprint from naught to sixty in just 4.5 seconds.

The vehicle also comes with a sport air filter, a new exhaust manifold, two high-grade steel catalyst converters and forged pistons. But don’t start making plans yet, as the VATH Mercedes ML63 AMG price for the engine upgrade only is 17,850 euros... plus 1,785 euros for the installation.

These performances also asked for improved aerodynamics, chassis and braking. Therefore, the uplift on the rear axle can be reduced by a rear spoiler mounted/glued over the tailgate for 405 euros.

The 3-spoke 22-inch light alloy rims combined with high performance 265/35 ZR 22 or 305/30 ZR 22 Dunlop tires contribute to driving dynamics and visual appearance.

The price per wheel set is 8,568 euros. The VATH braking system with 8-piston fix calipers and 380 mm break discs costs 4,641 euros.

Adjustable sport suspension (1,952 euros) based on Airmatic not only ensures ML lowering, but also guarantees road holding capacity of a sports car. Fog lights behind the front bumper grill for 583 euros complete the program.
