Having even a slight interest in the world of supercar means you're well aware of the McLaren 720S' drag racing reputation. The Woking animal is now famous from being able to take down tuner cars with four-digit outputs, which only makes it even more of a desirable target for the said genre.
Of course, this means that certain owners of the 720S, who like to spend their lives one quarter mile at a time, have taken precaution measures by visiting the gym. And I'm obviously talking about their cars, with the McLaren that brought us here being an example as good as any.
This mid-engined beast's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 has been gifted with a Stage Two makeover, which consists of a tune and a custom downpipe.
Note that the Macca features an uber-aggressive tune that allso allows it to sip on race gas.
However, with the 720S recently encountering an also-modded Nissan GT-R as part of a hot street racing night, the Brit was running on pump gas, while packing street tires (the latter might seem obvious since the supercar was being driven on the street, but, alas, that's not always the case).
As for Godzilla, the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 occupying its engine compartment now allows the one behind the wheel to play with around 850 horsepower at the wheels, which makes for about a thousand ponies at the crank.
Thanks to the piece of footage below, you'll get to see the McLaren 720S and the Nissan GT-R duking it out from a roll. And it looks like the Japanese toy got a bit of a head start (this is also what the McLaren driver said), but the video will do the rest of the talking.
PS: Please don't use this battle as an example and head over to the strip when the racing desires show up.
