Latest reports showed Toyota scoring high August sales in South Africa, New Zealand, India, so the company should be good in the US too.
Toyota Motor Sales USA has just released its August 2013 sales results, registering 231,537 units delivered so far. This represents an increase of 18.4 percent over August 2012 on a daily selling rate.
“The auto industry continues to be a bright spot in the economic recovery,” said Bill Fay, Toyota division group vice president and general manager. “August capped a great summer for new vehicle sales, and it was Toyota's best month in more than five years."
On a raw-volume basis, unadjusted for 28 selling days in August 2013 versus 27 selling days in August 2012, Toyota Motor Sales registered an increased 22.8 percent more sales.
