As this year’s days are running out more and more tops, analysis and awards are being released, each trying to show the best cars we’ve encountered in the last 12 month period.
One of the latest lists is the “Top 10 Concept Cars of 2013” aggregated by AutoGuide, which takes us through a short recap over what fantasy machines the automakers revealed recently.

Coming in at number 5 in the list is this Toyota Supra-inspired GT 86 sportscar, which more or less previews the lines of an upcoming fifth generation Supra that the automaker is now set on building hype around.

After lots of renderings and speculations, Toyota’s motorsports partner Gazoo racing decided to do a little more than just some nice virtual pictures and came up with this fully functional Supra-like GT 86, which they called the GRMN Sports FR Concept and unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show.

Wearing a very sporty body kit which reminds of the one from Veilside designed for the Mark 4 Supra, the coupe also comes with a both supercharged and turbocharged 2-liter boxer engine delivering 330 hp.
