Set to debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the FT 86 Open Concept, the Toyota GT 86 convertible was recently spotted in South Africa.
Thanks to Car Magazine, we are now able to take a look at Toyota's open-top rendition of the GT 86 after it was spotted in Cape Town.

Though the image is far from being high-res, we can notice the car's revised bodywork to fit a larger trunk and that it's in fact ready not just for the Geneva showcase, but for production as well.

Release date for the Convertible GT 86 is currently unknowned, but the Japanese automaker should provide more details during the Swiss event.

We do know that the car will sport the same 200 horsepowered 2.0-liter boxer engine as the coupe.
