We’ve recently driven the Toyota GT 86 and its oversteering character still lies in our minds, so when we came across the adjacent commercial for the sports car we knew we had to share this with you.
The commercial is part of a new global campaign for the GT 86 and use animation created by a company called Digital Domain to capture our imagination. Toyota even offered us a brief description of the ad: “A man trapped inside a fake CGI city discovers a Toyota GT86 from the real world. He feels alive for the first time and decides to make his escape.”
Come to think of it. when you drive this car hard, you feel that your senses come alive and if you put the electronics to sleep, you really have to fight the rear axle’s tendency to step out, so you’re permanently alert.
