Professional golfer Lizette Salas has worked hard to earn a spot in the LPGA Tour and now it’s joining Team Toyota, the exceptional group of athletes selected and supported by Toyota Motor Sales USA.
Salas began playing golf at the age of seven. Her father was a mechanic at a local golf course and bartered his talents in exchange for golf lessons for his daughter. She made her rookie debut on the LPGA Tour in 2012 and has since been ranked as high as number 14 in the world by the Rolex Rankings.
“I can’t express how excited I am to partner with Toyota,” said Salas. “For as far back as I can remember, my family has always owned Toyotas because they are so reliable. Our cars have really been part of the Salas family for decades, so I’m ecstatic that now the partnership is official!”
