If you're one of the millions of Top Gear fans who were eagerly anticipating the 2013 Xmas special, we've god really bad news for you. Jeremy won't keep us glued to our TV screens with the search for the perfect supercar because there won't be a special until March.
The news came today via Twitter, where Jeremy Clarkson posted the following words: "The Top Gear Christmas special will air in March. But I have made a programme about PQ17. It airs on January 2nd."

PQ17 refers to an allied ship convoy from World War II. In 1942, it suffered significant losses at the hand of the Germans. The story of the Arctic front has rarely been told, and we're sure Jeremy will tell a beautiful story, but we just wish there'd be a McLaren or Ferrari on BBC next week.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
