Unlike Top Gear's Australian colony, which is now a thing of the past, its US one will carry on and we are here to give you the details.
You see, Top Gear USA didn't quite make it past 1st or 2nd gear in its first season, with the episodes falling short of expectations. However, the History Channel kept accele-rating, with the second season offering superior thrills.

This didn't remain unnoticed, as the ratings went up by 30 percent, also drawing History's youngest audience ever. To be more precise, TG USA season two had an average of 1.9 million viewers.

Now, the network will extend the second season, planing to shoot eight fresh episodes.

These will include goodies such as chauffeuring celebrities to the 2011 Emmy Awards... in homemade stretch limos, using dangerous methods of recharging electric vehicles, a trip to England for driving the Noble M600 and others.

Let's hope that the show will enter the more audience-more funds-more audience loop and we'll get to enjoy explosive automotive moments.
