Top Gear Australia Goes Under Down

The automotive press has taken yet another blow today, as Top Gear Australia has been canceled. We know, we could've reported this in an impersonal manner, but we're always sorry when we find out that less cars will appear on TV screens.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the Australia version of Top Gear is now dead, after four seasons on the air, due to poor audience.
Host Steve Pizzati used Twitter to confirm the bad news: "It's true - as of next week, TGA will be on at the special time of not at all. Sorry to the open-minded people that gave it a go and enjoyed!"

The Australian incarnation of TG attempted to clone the success of the original show, using the exact same pathway. It's too bad that nobody could find a way to make things work...
