In the early 1980s, Toyota and Precision Preparation Inc. (PPI) joined hands in an effort to diversify their streaks in motorsport. When legendary off-road racing driver Ivan “Ironman” Stewart jumped on the bandwagon, the recipe was complete and this baby started to steal the spotlight - Ivan Stewart’s mad 1994 Toyota PPI Tundra Trophy Truck 015.
With 27 miles (43.4 miles) on the clock and fresh to a resto job performed by its original builders, RK Motors Charlotte wants $275,000 (approximately €251,675 ) for this dune warrior. That’s a mammoth amount of green dollar bills, but you’re in the presence of a successful race truck, one of the most succesful.

In 1998, this example of chassis 015 managed to tackle the Baja 1000 by crossing the finish line first. Money in the bag or beginners luck? Neither. That first-place finish is followed by no less than four Baja 500 titles. This, boys and girls, is a seminal fire-breathing monster in off-road motorsport history.

With race-grade double A-arm suspension system and 22 inches of travel for the 17x7-inch 48-bolt deadlock wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich 37-inch T/A KR rubber, this is as serious as offroading gets if you had enough of your lifted 4Runner. Under the hood, the belly of the beast is based on the 1UZ-FE V8 engine.

Thanks to double overhead camshafts, special components, a 13:1 compression ration and a full-length stainless steel exhaust system, the 302 cubic inch eight-cylinder motor is good for more than 550 horsepower. Cog-swapping duties are handled by a 5-speed Hewland VGC 200 transmission. Other than the trophy truck itself, this sale includes a wide range of irreplaceable bits and bobs. Those pieces are:

- Original chassis blueprints
- 5 quarter panels
- 2 fenders
- 4 cab sides
- 1 hood
- 1 roof
- 1 brush guard
- 8 sets of bead locks for wheels
- 5 mounted wheels
- 49 unmounted wheels
- 7 boxes of assorted parts
