Usually, only stats and track times come to mind when you think of drag racing. But today, the Dunnville Autodrome from Ontario, Canada, is hosting what can be called a beauty show. Well, one where the contestants can get from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds. Now, let's see some 1v1 action!
First on our list is the absolutely gorgeous 2023 Toyota Supra. With curvy lines and a bada*s overall look, this fan-favorite ride looks like a heavily armored samurai retrofitted with wheels and a modern aesthetic.

It's armed to the teeth with a 3.0-liter inline-six turbo powerplant that can produce up to 382 hp with 368 lb-ft of torque. It has a 6-speed manual transmission system, RWD, and weighs around 3,343 lbs. In European "terms," that would mean 387 ps, 499 Nm, and weighs 1,516 kg.

On US soil, Supra's 2023 standard 2.0-liter version starts from around $46k, whereas the 3.0-liter is roughly $10k more expensive, at $55,700. There's also the 3.0-liter Premium for $57,900 and the A91-MT Edition for $59,440.

Next up, we have what I like to call the retro-futuristic-looking 2023 Nissan Z, which isn't as gorgeous as the Toyota Supra but is still in a league of its own.

This fair lady (pun intended) comes prepared with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine capable of delivering 400 hp (405 ps) with 350 lb-ft (474 Nm). It's also rear-wheel drive with a 6-speed manual, weighing 3,507 lbs. or 1,591 kg.

The 2023 Z Sport edition hovers around $42,000, while the Z Performance is $52,000, and the Z Proto Spec can go above $55k.

Last but not least, we have a kind-of-cool-I-guess 2022 Golf R. It's no secret that German engineering isn't known for winning beauty pageants regarding exterior visuals. Unless you count some Mercedes and Porsche models. But that's neither here nor there.

The exciting thing about this Golf R is that it's been beefed up. It went under the hammer and now has an improved intake system and better-performing wheels. Also, the springs have been lowered, and the ECU has been tinkered with.

It's AWD with a 6-speed manual gearbox and has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that can produce 340 hp (345 ps) with 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque.

Finally, now that we're done with the fashion show, let's see some rubber meet tarmac!

Sam CarLegion, who's organizing this entire shindig, didn't put all three of them at once for unknown reasons. So the first roll race was between the Supra and Golf R, and the former smoked the latter like coming out of a shotgun.

The Toyota was even more merciless the second time and won again by a mile. After switching to drag racing, things didn't shift gears for the tuned Golf R. It simply couldn't compete and shamefully lost every event.

Then the Golf R duked it out with the Nissan Z, where... you can already guess what happened. The Golf might as well have been a Dacia Sandero. It wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Sadly, we didn't see the Toyota Supra compete with the Nissan Z, Hopefully, Sam CarLegion sees the outcry from the comment section and makes this duel happen. Also, if you're wondering about the times, the machine broke that very day.

But who knows, maybe we'll see a rematch one day with all three at once and with proper track times.
