The New Rukka Airob Jacket Dispels Heat

Good news for all those who dreamed of having super-powers (or at least a special suit) when they were kids. Through its APR Airob jacket, Rukka introduces the Air Power Technology, able to dispel heat, so that it can be used in hot weather riding conditions, as reported by hellforleathermagazine.com.

AirPower Technology was developed by Rukka in collaboration with DuPont to meet the safety standards for motorcycling. Made from a new breathable yet highly abrasion resistant Cordura AFT fabric, the Rukka Airob touring jacket has a CE-certified body armor and double layer fabric in crash zones like the elbows and shoulders.

The Cordura AFT uses a knitted mesh structure for comfortable riding in hot climate. Detachable Gore-Tex inner jacket enhance comfort for wider weather conditions. It has patented breathable RVP Air protectors for maximum active and passive safety.

Gore-Tex Performance Shell gives to the inner jacket durability, breathability and 100% water and windproofness. The AirVantage Insulation technology provides the possibility for individually adjusted thermal insulation. The rider can adjust his thermal comfort all the time the garment is in use, depending on his activity level or the climate conditions.

The AirPower Technology also benefits of a temperature-regulating Outlast material, thus contributing to a comfortable thermal balance. Outlast absorbs and releases warmth according to the wearer’s individual needs, therefore acting as a temperature-balancing buffer.

As for the special features that Rukka offers through the APR Airob jacket, we can mention: soft neoprene in collar, collar with magnet closure, the jacket can be zipped to trousers, and is loaded with pockets (two in the inner jacket and three in the outer jacket). 3M Scotchlite reflectors come as standard.
