The Muppets are back again with another short adventure in the all-new Toyota Highlander, a very spacious midsize crossover with no room for boring, as the recent ads tell.
If you missed this year’s Big Game and you’re new to the subject, Toyota teamed up with the Muppets in order to promote two products at once - the newly released Toyota Highlander and the upcoming Muppets Most Wanted movie set to hit theatres on March 21st.
With this occasion, a series of funny commercials have been made, portraying the beloved characters taking a cross country trip to LA in the Highlander for the movie’s premiere. Along the way, they get in different funny situations worth watching until the movie coms out.
In the newest clip, Pepe and Rizzo were supposed to get gas for the Toyota Highlander, but they never learned how to use a self-serve gas pump. It might not have been pretty, but there was definitely no room for boring as they continued their road trip to the Muppets Most Wanted premiere.
The 2014 Toyota Highlander comes with a rougher-looking exterior, new interior with soft-touch materials, seating for eight people as standard, fancy stitching and a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a retuned transmission.
